Casio Grand Hybrid Piano Competition London

Join us for a piano competition for all ages and abilities hosted by Casio Music UK. The competition is now FULLY BOOKED.

This competition takes place in a separate area of Kingsdale School and it is not connected to the main piano competition. Come along for a fun, informal piano competition for all ages and abilities performing together in the smae class.  Announce your piece before you play – there is no printed programme. Nb. entry to the main competition is not included but you are welcome to buy a ticket.

All competitors will receive a certificate. Rosettes awarded to the top 3 performers.

The classes are not split into any grades or ages. All styles of music welcome and free choice of repertoire and genre (classical, jazz, improv).

Audience Tickets are FREE.

Time limit per performer: 3 minutes. Class size: 15 competitors.

Audience Tickets are FREE. Audience members do not need to book tickets, you can just turn up on the day.

Please note that you will need to purchase separate audience tickets to the main competition in The POD if you would like to attend this event.

Information for Competitors:

  1. On the day, please arrive 30 minutes early to sign-in for the event.
  2. All performers must give written consent to be photographed in order to participate in this event. Casio and the Dulwich Music Festival will use the event footage and photographs in publicity materials including online and print media.
  3. You do not need to give a copy of your music to the adjudicator.
  4. The adjudicator’s decision is final. No written feedback will be given and verbal feedback may only be provided for the rosette winners due to the time constraints of the event.
  5. Entry to main piano competition The POD is not included in this free ticket but you may purchase an audience ticket if you would like to attend this event.

Class 1: 11.00 – 12.00 (arrival at 10.30, registrations close at 10.45)
Class 2: 13.30 – 14.30 (arrival at 13.00, registrations close at 13.45)
Class 3: 15.30 – 16.30 (arrival at 15.00, registrations close at 15.15)
