A non-competitive performance opportunity for young musicians to come and try the harpsichord in the historic former home of musicians Jimi Hendrix and George Handel in Bond Street. Bring along a Baroque piece to perform on the Museum’s harpsichord. Do stay a while longer to look around the Museum too! No experience of the harpsichord is required, a member of our team will be on hand to assist you.
Adult musicians may be interested in this event.
The event will be separated into two groups at 2pm and 2.30pm. We may add an additional group at 3pm depending on the number of entrants. Due to the limited number of seats at the venue, you will only be able to stay for one group. All audience members must pay the usual Museum admission price of £10 for adults, £5 for children. Performers do not need to pay for Museum admission providing a ticket has been booked via this page: https://billetto.co.uk/e/204978
All performers will receive a certificate of participation. You will not receive feedback on your performance as there is no adjudicator for this event.
