The Muzio Clementi Junior Award at Tunbridge Wells, March 2019

We are delighted to announce the information for the Muzio Clementi Junior Award Piano Competition that will be held in Tunbridge Wells. Priority entry is given to competitors from the 2018 Competition. Open to age 18 and Under.

Sunday 24th March 2019 – 11am to 5pm

Intermediate to Advanced level classes will be held at Finchcocks Charity’s newly-built performance space in Tunbridge Wells. Performers will play a Clementi 19th-century instrument from the Finchcocks Collection. There will be a short introductory workshop with Steven Devine and Gary Branch and time to try out the instruments before the competitions.
Please ensure you have signed up to our newsletter to receive the latest festival updates.

Beginner classes will remain in Kensington at Clementi’s former family home on 23 March – click here for info. Entries are now open for this class. Performer spaces are strictly limited due to the small size of the venue.
