We are pleased to announce the winner of the 2nd Broadwood Horniman Harpsichord Competition is Dušan Toroman. The competition is supported through the generosity of John Broadwood & Sons Ltd. Sam Laurence from John Broadwood & Sons Ltd. presents the 1st prize to Dusan Toroman.
Dušan Toroman received a graduate degree in piano performance in his native Serbia. After studying the fortepiano for three years at the renowned Imola Piano Academy (Italy), he enrolled at the Conservatory ‘G. Rossini’ in Pesaro, where he is currently finishing his harpsichord studies in the class of Maria Luisa Baldassari. A versatile musician, he complements his work as a soloist with playing in various chamber music ensembles and working as a vocal coach. He also fulfils a lively concert schedule that has brought him to France, Italy, Switzerland, Slovenia and Hungary.
